Esos angeles custodian el arca que segun la Biblia, transportaban los judios durante su exodo. Igualmente se dice que son los dos angeles que estaban junto a Jesus despues de su crucifixion y entierro, lo que parece confirmar el mural
Thank you for your's very interesting version about the fresco! But really two angels are holding the icon of Dormition of Our Lady. The center of the fresco was very much damaged. This fresco was painted on the front wall of the south gate (1792–1795) of Holy Dormition Kiev Pechersk Lavra.
